On Little Corn Island there are no vehicles, no cars or motorbikes, at most you find someone on a bicycle, but all the local people and visitors are always walking around it.

The charm of the island are its incredible white beaches with clear water, the tranquility and the wonderful coral reefs that surround it. Diving in them is an unforgettable experience. If you can’t dive, maybe Snorkeling on it can be best option to you.

Population living on  Little Corn Island lives on tourism and fishing and it’s mixed by locals and expats. Local population it’s mostly Creole or African descent origin and are very friendly to visitors. The food they prepare is very rich and predominantly lobster, fish and coconuts as a staple food.

 

RECOMMENDATIONS

Be on time to the pier from where comes the panga that goes to Little Corn Island, since it is easy to run out site. Also bring something to cover the objects you carry with you, it is very likely that you will get wet, bring spare clothes. If you fear the sea, it is advisable to think through the boat trip to Little Corn Island in case there are rough seas, temporary or winter storms.

HOW TO GET?

To get to Little Corn Island there is only one way boat from Big Corn Island. Every day there is a small boat harbor to the island. If there are enough passengers, the ship made two or three trips in a day. The information and schedules must question them on the same port and recommend arriving on time. If weather and sea are on good conditions, it’s just about a 20 minutes trip.
